Define the representative chamber or volume, the process gas, whether gas ballast will be open, and the measurement point for working pressure. A shop ultimate-pressure test without inlet restriction is not the same as pump-down of a leaking vessel. If dry rotary vane construction is proposed, do not reuse oil-sealed Torr tables; ask for ACFM or m³/h at the working pressure and for vane-wear and dust-handling notes. Two-stage oil-sealed machines address a lower ultimate-pressure band; they still need ballast and filtration answers.

Confirm three-phase supply, connected load in kW, footprint, lifting, cooling water, exhaust treatment location and PLC interface names for run, fault, oil level or vane-temperature alarms. Inlet piping length and diameter belong on the same sheet because they change pump-down time even when the rotor geometry is understood.
